Cultural tours in three days

We suggest to our customers three itineraries:

1st itinerary

VICENZA (24 km from B&B)

Unesco World Heritage site, Vicenza in known as town of Palladio, who realized many architectural masterpieces in late Renaissance: Basilica Palladiana e Palazzo del Capitanio in Piazza dei Signori, the Olimpic Theatre, Palazzo Chiericati  Palazzo Barbaran Da Porto and the famous Villa Capra called La Rotonda.

Do not miss Monte Berico, the hill dominating the town.


 

2nd itinerary

MONTAGNANA ESTE MONSELICE (small tour in 85 km)

Montagnana is famous for its beautiful and perfectly preserved medieval walls with 4 doors and 24 towers: Out of walls you can visit Villa Pisani by Palladio and the Old Town with its interesting square.

Este:this very old town (iron age) is interesting for its medieval castle (Castello Carrarese), the Atestino National Museum (Villa Mocenigo), the marvelous squares in old town and the Dome of St. Tecla containing a Tiepolo’s altarpiece.

Monselice: its origins go back to the Bronze Age. Don’t miss a visit at the Medieval Castle, the Rocca, the Dome of St. Giustina, the Sanctuary of Seven Churches and the Old Town.


3rd itinerary

VENICE

Bring a good guide of the town. We suggest how to reach Venice and where park the car.

2 km from B&B Motorway A31 connecting with A4 till Venice Tronchetto (79 km). Parking at Scalo Fluviale (9 euros for 12 hours).

Same motorway till Padua West and reach the Railway Station and the parking beside (8 euros from 6.00 to 22.00). Catch a Regional Train to Venice Santa Lucia (journey there and back 7 euros).
